About this program
The University of Georgia's Bulldog Battalion is the university's Army ROTC program, committed to training and developing outstanding future leaders. It is a cross-town program: cadets come from the University of Georgia as the host school and from Georgia Gwinnett College as a partner school, taking Military Science elective courses alongside the required classes for any major, with no military obligation during the first two years.
The battalion's Military Science curriculum is designed to equip students to succeed in any competitive environment, covering management, leadership, ethics, tactics, law, military history, and Army society. Through a mix of classroom instruction and field training, cadets learn firsthand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups, and conduct missions as an officer in the Army.
