Operating out of North Carolina A&T State University, Pride of the Pack Battalion commissions cadets into the U.S. Army under U.S. Army Cadet Command. Cadre and cadets commonly identify by the unit's nickname — the Pride of the Pack.
Cadets from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Greensboro College, Guilford College, and Bennett College cross-enroll into Pride of the Pack Battalion on a typical once-per-week schedule, with leadership labs, PT, and Military Science classes held on the North Carolina A&T State University campus.
