NROTC Arizona State University
NROTC at Arizona State University trains midshipmen for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in Arizona.
About this program
Arizona State University's Navy ROTC unit, the Sea Devil Battalion, is one of the nation's newer and fastest-growing NROTC programs. Founded in 2010, it has quickly become one of the largest ROTC units in the country, with more than 130 students spread across five different programs and a staff dedicated to each midshipman's development. The unit prepares students to commission as U.S. Navy Ensigns and U.S. Marine Corps Second Lieutenants.
Midshipmen can earn full-tuition and full-ride scholarships and pursue specialized tracks, including a certified Nuclear Power School path and a Naval Preparatory Program. For those interested in Navy Nursing, the unit partners with ASU's Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation and its College of Health Solutions.
Beyond military service, the leadership, management, and teamwork training built into NROTC prepares graduates for careers in fields such as health care administration, information technology management, logistics and supply chain, and strategic planning. Alumni consistently describe the program's tight-knit, competitive environment as strong preparation for leading Sailors and Marines in the fleet.
