Quick facts
About this program
Operating out of Auburn University, NROTC Auburn University commissions midshipmen into the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps under Naval Service Training Command. The program traces its lineage on this campus to 1946.
NROTC Auburn University runs as a host-only program; midshipmen contract directly through Auburn University without a cross-town consortium. With roughly 12000+ undergraduates on campus, the unit pulls from a deep applicant pool inside a single school.
Funding paths into this unit include NROTC Navy Option (4-year) and NROTC Marine Option, with NROTC Nurse Option (where offered) also available. Auburn University's academic strengths in nursing and health professions and international affairs and language study give contracted midshipmen flexible major options on either side of the technical/non-technical line.
Cross-town partners
No cross-town partner schools recorded yet.
